This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware and operationally strong individual to manage projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring delivery is safe, efficient, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple flat roofing contracts from inception to completion
* Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
* Oversee site teams, subcontractors, materials, and quality standards
* Monitor project progress, financial performance, and programme delivery
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
* Coordinate effectively with subcontractors and supply chain partners
* Promote a culture of health & safety, quality, and continuous improvement
* Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry regulations
Essential Experience & Skills
* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within roofing or construction
* Extensive knowledge of flat roofing systems, including:
* Single ply
* Built-up felt
* Liquid systems
* EPDM
* GRP/Fibreglass
* Green roofing systems
* Strong commercial awareness and project management ability
* Excellent leadership, xsngvjr communication, and problem-solving skills
* Experience managing multiple live projects and teams simultaneously
* Full UK driving licence
* SMSTS
* CSCS
* IOSH or NEBOSH
* Relevant roofing qualifications or accreditations
