This is an exciting opportunity to join our client as a temporary Finance Manager with an immediate start available to ensure adequate handover and knowledge transfer following the departure of the current Finance Manager.
📝 Key Responsibilities
1. Budgeting & forecasting 📊
2. Monthly management accounts
3. Managing grant monies & associated drawdown conditions
4. Statutory accounting for 2 entities
5. Group reporting (Vector packages)
6. Business partnering across departments 🤝
7. Audit facilitation
8. Documenting work processes
9. Handling ad-hoc queries
10. Collaborating with project teams to ensure compliance & accurate accounting
🎯 What We’re Looking For
Essential
11. Fully qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) + 3+ years PQE
12. Experience managing & motivating staff
13. Strong statutory accounts preparation experience
14. Excellent business acumen
15. Deadline-driven & organised
16. Confident communicator at all levels
17. Self-starter comfortable in a dynamic environment
18. Strong technical accounting skills
19. Proficient in handling & reporting large data volumes
Desirable
20. Experience with grant funding & compliance
21. Work on publicly funded projects
22. Group reporting systems (Vector or similar)
23. Familiarity with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc)
