Logistics and Sales Administrator, Stevenage
Opportunity for an organised and flexible administrator to join a growing global business in Essex.
Purpose of the Post
To be responsible for all aspects of logistics and sales administration, serving as the first point of contact with key customers and ANZCO NZ for order management, shipping details, and information requests. The role aims to support the Logistics, Commercial, and General Managers by handling data management and accuracy of sales and logistics information in customer and ANZCO software systems. The role also involves covering for the Logistics Manager during holidays and travel and being an active team member.
Duties and Tasks
Logistics Administration
* Check accuracy of import documentation and correct mistakes with ANZCO NZ.
* Request PINs and coordinate with hauliers.
* Send shipment reports and handle customer inquiries.
* Update logistics logs with ETAs and dispatch details.
* Support the Logistics Manager during absences.
* Manage orders between ANZCO NZ/Itoham Japan and customers.
* Input sales data into ANZCO systems and confirm with customers.
* Handle customer-specific sales administration tasks.
* Manage important documents like specs, certifications, and industry reports.
* Oversee customer purchasing and supply chain systems.
* Create and distribute stock sheets to the sales team.
* Coordinate onboarding of new customers.
General Administration
* Manage office landline communications.
* Pack and courier product samples.
* Manage holiday calendars, office supplies, and expense filings.
* Potentially manage smaller customer accounts.
Other Duties
* Perform additional duties as assigned by management within your capabilities.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, enthusiastic, highly organised, and capable of executing detailed tasks accurately. They should work well independently, be adaptable to a small team environment, and willing to assist where needed.
Experience and Qualifications
Essential: Experience in logistics or sales administration; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to prioritise and meet deadlines; effective communication skills; flexible work ethic and team orientation.
Desirable: Industry knowledge, sales experience.
