About the Role Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Hybrid, minimum of 3 days onsite, with some flexible working. Are you a dynamic and driven Project Manager ready to take on a new challenge? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where your organisational skills and stakeholder engagement make a real impact? If you're passionate about delivering excellence and leading with purpose, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity to join the Conventional Island Programme Team at Hinkley Point C, one of Europe’s most ambitious infrastructure projects. As a Project Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering electrical activities that are critical to the success of the programme. Reporting directly to the Electrical and I&C Lead, you’ll lead with a focus on safety, quality, time, and cost. This is your chance to contribute to a landmark project while developing your career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment. Pay, benefits and culture The salary associated with this role is starting from £65,000, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including a company pension scheme, and a wide range of flexible benefits to suit your lifestyle. We’re talking about everything from enhanced parental leave to electric vehicle leasing, health insurance to product discounts, critical illness insurance to technology vouchers, gym membership to season ticket loans. At EDF UK, we embrace flexibility while recognising that everyone's working needs are different. Whether you're in our office spaces, on site, or working remotely, we promote an environment that supports collaboration, connection, and comfort. No matter where you are, our priority is to make sure you feel safe, valued, and celebrated. Here, we do right by each other and everyone’s welcome. We’re on an action-oriented journey, championing equity, diversity, and inclusion. We’d like our future workforce to have an equal gender balance, represent a broad mix of people from minority ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ, those with a disability and supporting social mobility. We’re a disability confident employer and we’ll do all we can to help with your application. Please let us know if you need to request reasonable adjustments. We take pride in fostering a dynamic and inclusive environment, where the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our employees drive fresh thinking and innovation. We understand that success means different things to different people. We believe there are multiple definitions of what it means to succeed. That’s why we support you to pursue a career that’s unique to you. Because success is personal. What you’ll be doing You’ll be embedded within the Turbine Halls Multi-Disciplinary Delivery Team, collaborating closely with Tier 1 supply chain partners. Your role will be to anticipate challenges, resolve issues, and shape delivery strategies that ensure a robust and integrated schedule for on-site construction and installation. Working independently in installation areas, you’ll support the Electrical and I&C Lead to drive programme delivery while managing its broader impact. You’ll track progress, manage risks, and ensure that all activities are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. From overseeing contract administration to ensuring nuclear safety and resolving construction issues, your leadership will be key to maintaining quality and schedule. You’ll also liaise with the HPC Site team to ensure seamless delivery and alignment with project milestones. Who you are You’ll bring a degree in electrical engineering, construction, or a related technical discipline—or equivalent experience. Your communication and organisational skills are second to none, and you’re adept at building strong relationships and networks. With a background in managing contractors and consultants on large, complex construction projects, ideally in regulated environments, you’re experienced in stakeholder engagement and collaboration. You’re confident in project, financial, and change management, and proficient with scheduling and risk tools. While experience in large-scale technical projects is a plus, we’re most interested in your personal attributes. You’ve demonstrated success in managing safe systems of work, quality assurance, engineering design, and multi-discipline project delivery. You’re also skilled in cost control, risk management, and change implementation. If this sounds like your next career move, we’d love to hear from you.
