Commissioning Home Manager – Alderbrook Care Home, Moortown, Leeds
We are looking for a Commissioning Home Manager to lead our newly refurbished 120‑bed complex care service at Alderbrook Care Home. The role includes full operational and strategic responsibility, delivering exceptional care standards, achieving a Good rating at the first CQC inspection, and driving occupancy growth.
Responsibilities
* Full operational and strategic leadership of the home from opening to full residency.
* Deliver exceptional care standards and a Good rating at the first CQC inspection.
* Drive occupancy growth across the service.
* Lead and develop teams across all units.
* Embed robust systems for quality, compliance and business performance.
* Work closely with the Regional Director and CRM to convert enquiries into admissions.
Qualifications
* At least three years’ experience as a Home Manager, ideally in complex care, mental health, or specialist dementia services.
* Proof of multi‑site management and a proven track record of CQC success.
* Strong commercial acumen – experience driving occupancy, managing budgets, and delivering KPIs.
* Prior commissioning experience is highly desirable.
* Relevant registration (RMN preferred; RGN or RNLD acceptable with appropriate experience).
* Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification required.
* Leadership style that is visible, motivating, inclusive and drives fast sustainable growth.
