Our client is looking for a commercially driven Head of Engineering Contract to lead and scale an already successful division within the Life Sciences recruitment market. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced billing manager who wants to inherit a profitable contractor base, shape team strategy, and build a long-term leadership structure within a growing business. With significant investment across global pharmaceutical manufacturing and CapEx projects, the market demand is strong, creating clear opportunities for revenue growth, team expansion, and career progression.
The Head of Engineering Contract will take ownership of a well-established desk while driving the next phase of growth across Engineering and potentially Quality recruitment within highly regulated project environments.
Role Highlights:
– Lead and expand the Engineering contract recruitment division
– Manage an established contractor base of approximately 45 active runners
– Develop business development strategy across key Life Sciences accounts
– Build and mentor a high-performing recruitment team, scaling beyond 5 consultants
– Drive client growth across pharma manufacturing, automation, validation, and capital projects
You Will Need:
– Proven success as a billing manager within contract recruitment
– Strong Engineering recruitment background across technical or project-based markets
– Demonstrated experience scaling teams and developing recruiters
– Consistent business development success within competitive markets
– Exposure to Life Sciences, Oil & Gas, Energy, Renewables, Infrastructure, or Data Centre sectors
