About the role
We are looking for a dynamic and inspirational Head of Maths to lead the provision and strategic development of Maths at Sexey's School. This leadership position offers the opportunity to further develop and manage the delivery of the Maths curriculum.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead a thriving maths department that consistently achieves high results.
* Develop and deliver the KS3 and KS4 maths curriculum, with an advantage for the ability to teach A Level.
* Provide a clear vision and strategic direction for curriculum improvement.
* Promote outstanding teaching and learning and support professional development within the department.
* Contribute to whole‑school improvement and participate in the wider life of the school.
Qualifications and experience:
* Excellent teaching and leadership record.
* Well qualified in maths with a strong commitment to professional development.
* Experience leading a department and driving curriculum improvement.
* Ability to teach A Level is an advantage.
Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS check required.
* Right to work in the UK.
