Sofia's Tapas & Bistro is coming to Hunstanton.
Incorporating a bar for cocktails, wine, beers & refreshing drinks, a fresh, cosy, vibrant new & unique concept adding flavour to our lovely coastal / seaside town of Hunstanton.
We are on the lookout for an experienced, passionate Sous Chef to embrace this new project.
The start date is yet to be confirmed as the extensive fit out works are currently underway, we are hoping for the successful candidate to be available from middle to end of September ready for opening soon after.

What we are looking for:
* We are looking to build a team of positive, proactive & motivated colleagues who put the quality & guest experience first in a professional & fun environment.
* The ideal candidate would have previous Sous Chef experience, but we will also consider candidates that have been in a second in a Junior Sous or secondary positions but feel ready to take on the next step.
* Someone passionate & eager to succeed, displaying a desire to deliver & achieve the highest quality & standards.
* We are looking for creativity, real kitchen flair to produce some amazing tasty dishes for our guests.
* Good communication skills are a must as you will be expected to support, manage and inspire a small back of house team to work alongside the front of house and report to the Head Chef and General Manager.
* You will be working in a fast-paced environment hence the ability to multitask, supervise and lead without compromising the quality, consistency and presentation of the dishes is crucial.
* You must have a thorough Food Safety & Health & Safety knowledge, Level 2 desirable to ensure you & the team adhere to all the Food/Health & Safety rules so the workspace is safe, organised & tidy.
* We are looking for a can-do attitude & have a genuine passion for food, creating memorable experiences will be at the heart of what we do.
* The position will be permanent, & the salary will be dependent on experience, weekly working hours will be 48 hours on a rota basis to include weekends, school holidays, bank holidays & late nights.
* Weekend availability is essential.
* You will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in the running of the kitchen operations, delivering consistent high food quality. With our concept flavour and creativity is a must and you would be creating dishes alongside the Head Chef, organising and planning food preparation, ordering, checking all deliveries as well as ensuring the stock is well maintained, rotated to ensure a good stock control.
* You will be training and developing the team to ensure the highest standards are always maintained.
