This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate, empathetic and driven to make a real difference in the lives of young people. The school supports up to 50 students aged 11 - 18, offering high-quality, individualised and small-group learning opportunities.

About the role:
As a learning support assistant, you will:
1. Provide tailored support to students, helping them engage fully in their education
2. Work 1:1 or in small groups to promote academic progress and personal development
3. Travel to outreach centres and homes to deliver education in a range of environments
4. Foster emotional wellbeing and equip students with essential life skills
5. Collaborate with teachers, support staff and families to ensure a holistic approach to student development
About you:
We are looking for an individual who:
1. Has a genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
2. Can remain calm, empathetic and professional, even when faced with challenging behaviour
3. Has prior experience working with individuals with SEN/additional needs
4. Holds a valid driver’s licence (minimum of 2 years experience), access to their own vehicle and business insurance
5. Possesses strong communication skills to inspire and motivate students
6. Is adaptable, flexible and has a great sense of humour
Working hours: 8:45am - 4:45pm, Monday to Friday, term time only
