ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN CCL Global are currently recruiting for an Electrical Technician to support a highly advanced research and engineering environment within the UK’s energy sector. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge systems within a complex, high-integrity facility. Type of Contract: Contract (Inside IR35) Location: Oxford, Abingdon (100% onsite) Contract Length: 12 months Key Duties Will Include: * Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across a range of plant equipment. * Support fault finding and diagnostics on control systems, power conversion systems, and electrical distribution (LV/HV). * Assist in the build and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems. * Work closely with engineers and Plant Responsible Officers to deliver technical tasks safely and effectively. * Support inspection and testing activities in line with BS7671 and relevant codes of practice. * Produce and maintain technical documentation, including safe systems of work. * Undertake hands-on work involving both robust and delicate electrical components (e.g. instrumentation and thermocouples).
