Radiology Assistant
Fixed Term 6 Months – Full Time – 37.5 Hours per Week – Location: Buckshaw Hospital, Chorley.
We are currently seeking an experienced Health Care Assistant to join our busy Radiology department at Buckshaw Hospital. Good communication skills, teamwork, flexibility to meet changing needs, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment are essential. The role requires providing excellent customer service and supporting Radiographers across Ultrasound, MRI and CT scanning rooms.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will: ensure a safe and caring environment for patients, work closely with Radiographers, participate in patient assessment and positioning, operate imaging equipment under supervision, maintain accurate documentation, and support multidisciplinary team meetings and patient care plans.
