Our client is a well-established manufacturing company based in Blackburn, specializing in plastic components production for the automotive and industrial sectors. We are currently looking for reliable Machine Operators to join their production team.
Working hours
* Continental shift pattern: 12-hour shifts (6am–6pm and 6pm–6am).
* 2-week rotation:
o Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
o Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday
Pay rate £12.69/h (overtimes available)
Key responsibilities
* Operating and monitoring production machinery in line with work instructions and production schedules.
* Adjusting machine settings (temperature, pressure, cycle time) as required.
* Performing quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
* Carrying out basic maintenance, cleaning, and tool changes.
* Keeping the work area clean and safe.
* Reporting technical or material issues to supervisors.
* Following all health & safety and quality procedures.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment (machine operation experience desirable).
* Good attention to detail and quality standards.
* Ability to work effectively within a team.
* Flexibility to work shifts.
* Strong awareness of health & safety in an industrial setting.
