Job Description
* Managing a portfolio of clients across a range of industries.
* Mentoring and developing junior members of the team.
* Reviewing and preparing accounts and tax returns.
* Contributing to the development of the firm's tax strategy.
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting and tax regulations.
* Maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* Identifying opportunities for business growth and improvement.
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Accounts & Tax Manager' should have:
* A qualification in Accounting or a related field
* Extensive knowledge of accounting and tax regulations.
* Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Ability to speak with and advise clients.
* Knowledge of current accounts and tax legislation.
* Knowledge of CCH would be preferable, although not essential.
* Knowledge of Xero, Quickbooks, Sage is required.
