Sales Representative, Lektronix (North) – Rockwell Automation

As Sales Representative you will identify new customers for repair/remanufacturing service offerings through onsite customer visits, assess customer assets, and recommend appropriate solutions and new products to improve customer efficiencies and operations. You will achieve sales goals of revenue/job count and identification of new customers. This role is for the North region of the UK and reports to Sales Manager, Lektronix.
The Responsibilities
* Achieve sales targets and manage a geographical area to maximise its sales potential.
* Develop and implement our sales strategy following our goals.
* Identify, profile, analyse and implement new business opportunities in the regional market.
* Contribute to the ongoing planning of our sales, marketing and business development strategies.
* Attract and retain suitable partners and agents to promote and sell our service and product range.
* Contribute to new product/service development, promotion/distribution, customer care and our quality approach through the presentation of customer feedback.
* Develop, update and maintain a database of existing and potential customers.
* Coordinate and follow up on existing leads, initiate contact, create new leads and bring on new customers.
* Demonstrate the technical ability of our services and products to potential customers.
* Provide regular information to assist management with decision‑making, including weekly sales and prospecting reports.
* Make recommendations to management on business development activity.
* Help with after‑sales queries, investigate customer complaints, and ensure they are dealt with to the customers’ satisfaction.
The Essentials
* 2+ years of sales experience.
* An organised approach to work and record‑keeping.
* Confidence with the MS Office package at a level beyond basic competence.
* Driving licence.
The Preferred
* Degree in sales, marketing or a business‑related discipline.
* Experience of selling to business customers in a manufacturing environment.
* Working knowledge of industrial electronics at a basic level.
