EYFS, KS1 Class Teacher (willingness to work in Yr2,Yr1, Reception and Nursery)
Catherine Infant is a large four form entry school with a 60-place nursery and a 10 place designated specialist provision (DSP) for pupils with communication and interaction needs. The school is located in Belgrave serving a community with a range of cultures. The school predominantly includes pupils with EAL, some pupils with significant SEND needs and new arrivals to the country. It’s an exciting time to join the school as we moved into our brand-new state of the art school in 2025.
This is an exciting opportunity for a keen and enthusiastic ECT (Year 1) to join our current staff teams in either EYFS or key stage one. Our year group teams work closely together, liaising and offering each other support with planning, assessment and delivery of an exciting, varied and challenging curriculum. This post would suit either an ECT or an established teacher looking for an outstanding and supportive school to progress further in their career. Please specify your year group preference.

9. The successful candidate will work with 3 other teachers in the year group to provide an outstanding level of education, care and nurture.
Applicants must:
10. have a secure understanding of the EYFS/KS1 curriculum
11. have experience of teaching phonics, writing and maths to infant children and be willing to develop their knowledge and practice in line with Read, Write Inc phonics, Mastery Maths and Pie Corbett “Talk For Writing & Reading”
12. a desire to ensure that all children including children with SEND make excellent progress in their learning through inclusive practice
13. be a team player, willing to contribute and work collaboratively within a friendly year group team and key stage
14. be flexible and adaptable to suit the needs of the school.
