The Team
easyJet’s Engineering and Maintenance team is renowned for innovation and excellence. You’ll be part of a group delivering Europe’s highest technical dispatch reliability, working with cutting-edge aircraft like the NEO and A321. This is your chance to be involved in everything from routine servicing to advanced defect rectification.
The Role
As a Mechanic, you will perform defect rectification and routine servicing under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor or Certifying Licensed Aircraft Engineer. You’ll ensure all maintenance activity meets regulatory standards and easyJet’s industry-leading safety and technical benchmarks. Key responsibilities include:
>Complete aircraft maintenance tasks as directed, including work requiring a Certificate of Release to Service (CRS)
>Ensure familiarity with allocated tasks and seek guidance where needed
>Conduct thorough handovers for partially completed tasks
>Report any safety risks or defects to the Maintenance Manager
>Follow all safety precautions, procedures, and health & safety requirements
>Maintain facilities, tools, and equipment, reporting any issues promptly
>Carry out scheduled tasks per approved maintenance documentation
>Support the team and take on additional duties as requested by management
What we’re looking for
>Up-to-date knowledge of airworthiness legislation
>Solid practical experience as an Aircraft Mechanic, preferably supporting A320 family aircraft in an operational environment
>Line maintenance experience
>Strong technical knowledge of aircraft and hand skills
>Customer-focused mindset, both internally and externally
>Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organisation
>Flexibility to meet deadlines and solve operational challenges
>Understanding of Health & Safety legislation
>Structural repair experience desirable
>Ability to use maintenance documentation and computer reporting systems

Practicalities
This permanent role will be based in LGW, working 4x4 NNNN nights. Occasional travel to easyJet’s headquarters or network locations may be required.
