Role and Responsibilities
In this role you will set production schedules and key deliverables for all teams, ensuring that they are delivered on-time and on-budget. Acting as the focal point between the production and purchasing departments, you will forecast production demands in order to achieve a “just-in-time” stock management model. You are also responsible for ensuring regular clear communication between Sales, Operations, Production and Distribution. Leading the way for quality and compliance, you will ensure adherence to all H&S and QC standards set.
* Set production plans based on budgeted sales, ensuring success of key deliverables
* Set targets and evaluate performance of production personnel and their work
* Completing weekly/monthly stock takes
* Lead a quality-focused culture
* Conduct staff performance reviews
* Maintain staff knowledge of COSHH requirements, providing training where necessary
* Perform internal QC checks, reporting performance to SMT
* Work closely with the compliance department to ensure adherence to ISO9001 standards
* Support the Operations team with maintaining ERP system, ensuring production runs, warehouse transfers, deliveries are recorded correctly
* Ensuring staff training on equipment and SOP’s is reviewed and completed regularly
* Completing health and safety audits weekly/monthly and follow up on recommendations and findings
* Completing ‘Process Spot Checks’ and providing improvements for systems
* Any other ad hoc duties

* Stock value within agreed parameters

* External* QC audit pass
* Internal/External audit passes on ISO9001 standards compliance
*Audit to be completed by internal QC team, but external to the production team
Monthly bonus opportunity of up to 10%, based on the above KPI’s.
Qualifications, Education and Skills Requirements
* Good time management skills, as they may have multiple tasks and issues happening concurrently
* Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with managers and colleagues
* Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify issues and effectively deal with them
* A firm understanding of health and safety regulations
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
