The Role
As Director, you’ll provide strategic oversight across a wide-ranging client portfolio — supporting owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and larger corporate clients. You’ll combine hands‑on client delivery with leadership and business development responsibilities, helping to strengthen the firm’s market presence in South Wales.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing strategic and commercial advice to a diverse portfolio of clients
* Leading complex audit, accounting, and advisory projects
* Overseeing financial performance, team leadership, and service quality across the office
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
* Identifying business development opportunities and contributing to growth strategy
* Coaching, mentoring, and developing team members to achieve their potential
* Collaborating with senior leadership across the wider group on strategic initiatives
About You
You’re a commercially focused leader who combines strong technical expertise with a people-first approach.
You will:
* Be ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with significant experience in practice
* Have a proven track record in leading teams and managing complex client portfolios
* Demonstrate excellent business development, communication, and relationship skills
* Be confident providing strategic insight and practical advice to clients
* Possess strong organisational and commercial acumen
* Be ambitious, proactive, and eager to contribute to the growth of a leading accountancy group
* Have a genuine passion for supporting both clients and team members to succeed
