Algeco is seeking a passionate and experienced Production Manager who can inspire excellence in everything they do. As our Production Manager, you'll oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our production facility, ensuring that every product we produce is of the highest quality and delivered on time.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement training programmes to ensure that staff members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
* Monitor and evaluate the performance of production staff and provide feedback on areas for improvement; implement corrective actions as needed.
* Identify resourcing requirements and follow relevant processes to ensure recruitment needs are met.
* Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among production staff and other departments.
* Ensure that all staff members are aware of and adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
* Manage staff scheduling and resource allocation to ensure that production targets are met and staffing levels are appropriate.
* Identify opportunities for career development and advancement for production staff and support their professional growth.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and minimise costs.
* Deliver the daily production plan optimising resources and communicating performance against targets & KPIs.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality, safety, and productivity.
* Plan and manage the production process, ensuring that output meets quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
* Champion health and safety at all times, ensuring that our team members are always working in a safe and supportive environment.
* Embed a health and safety culture.
* Report and investigate incidents, near misses, accidents or incidents and implement corrective actions in line with Algeco policy.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, the Production Manager should have strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as experience managing a team in a heavy industrial manufacturing or construction environment. The ability to inspire and motivate staff members to achieve their best work is also critical, as is the ability to resolve conflicts and build a positive team culture.

Hours and Compensation
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hour week. Salary: Competitive. Company benefits, sociable hours + 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
