Maintenance Team Leader

c£62,000 + overtime + bonus

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Team Leader to join a state-of-the-art energy from waste power station. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to see all the stages of a new build through commissioning & operational start up. This role is a days-based position working a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday.

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining high standards of mechanical performance & plant availability.
• Lead & manage a team of maintenance technicians.
• Be technical lead for all mechanical maintenance activities.
• Deliver plant improvement initiatives.
• Co-ordinate preventative & reactive maintenance activities.
• Other duties as required

To be considered for this role you should have:

• Extensive maintenance experience with power generation or similar heavy process industry.
• Strong knowledge of Steam raising plant.
• Proven Leadership experience.
• HNC or above in Mechanical Engineering.
• Good communication skills to operate alongside the Operations Team Leader & team.

The offer:

• Up to £62,000
• A performance related bonus
• 25 days plus BH
• A company pension
