FRA Carpenter — Location: Camden — Hours: 37 hours per week — Salary: £25 P/H — Company Van Provided
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable FRA (Fire Risk Assessment) Carpenter to join our team in Camden. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong fire door experience and a solid understanding of fire safety compliance standards.
Responsibilities
* Fitting new fire doors and upgrading existing ones
* Repairing door frames to meet fire safety standards
* Installing fire-rated plasterboard and electrical enclosures
* Carrying out general fire stopping works
* Ensuring all work complies with British Standards and safety regulations
* Maintaining accurate records and minor admin duties
* Representing the company professionally and maintaining excellent customer relationships
Requirements
* Proven experience in fire door installation and fire safety carpentry
* Strong knowledge of fire door components and fire stopping techniques
* Good understanding of British Standards relating to fire safety
* Full UK Driving Licence (van will be provided)
* High attention to detail and quality workmanship
* Ability to work independently with a proactive and innovative approach
* Strong communication and customer service skills
Desirable
* Experience in quality control or quality management processes
* Familiarity with reporting systems and maintaining compliance documentation
