The successful candidate will have a background in technical security design with the ability to project manage the technical and commercial delivery of projects. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the group including stakeholder engagement, technical escalation, and financials. The group work simultaneously on several projects so the ideal person should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
The role will involve intricate technical knowledge of a range of security systems including but not limited to Genetec, CCURE, and Lenel. Hours may fluctuate as support will be required in multiple regions including Asia, the UK, and the US.
What you will do
Project Delivery
* Responsibility for ensuring that allocated projects are completed from design through to commissioning within agreed deadlines and budgets, escalating any potential issues in line with internal policies and procedures.
* Lead on providing a professional security design service to clients following their standards.
* Oversee and take responsibility for the preparation of concept and preliminary strategy solutions for initial client approval and sign-off.
* Project manage a range of projects related to security system design and upgrades across multiple clients and regional jurisdictions.
* Act as a point of escalation both technically and operationally for all allocated projects.
* Work independently and competently on assigned tasks.
* Collaborate within a multidisciplinary global team.
* Communicate directly with clients and actively participate or lead meetings.
* Ensure practices, policies, strategy, and services align with client and company interests, current legislation, international standards, and codes of practice.
Commercial
* Review and approve all fee proposals and update internal systems accordingly.
* Manage project budgets effectively.
* Report on project progress and financials regularly, including weekly reports for management.
* Manage resources required for projects.
* Update key stakeholders on project achievements and risks.
