Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) Are you looking to build a career in engineering, or take the next step after your apprenticeship? We are recruiting on behalf of a client for a Maintenance Engineer to join a busy and well-established operation in the Edinburgh area. This role is ideal for someone with a solid engineering foundation who is keen to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment, supporting the safe and efficient running of a depot facility. Working Hours: This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00. Key Responsibilities: • Support the Engineering Manager in delivering all maintenance activities with minimal disruption • Monitor and maintain large industrial ammonia refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance • Carry out planned and reactive plumbing and drainage maintenance • Perform electrical testing and fault finding across the site • Ensure all facilities are maintained to a high standard, in line with legislation and best practice Requirements: • NVQ or SVQ Level 3 in Engineering (or equivalent) is essential • Strong mechanical and electrical skills, ideally with an electrical bias • 18th Edition wiring regulations qualification is essential • A proactive approach and willingness to learn and develop If you are a motivated engineer looking for a stable role with structured hours and the oppo...
