Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and organised Sales and Events Manager to lead our sales initiatives and coordinate a variety of events. Responsibilities
* Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing customers
* Upsell additional services and packages to maximise revenue opportunities
* Coordinate with clients to plan, organise, and execute events, ensuring all requirements are met
* Manage event logistics, including booking, setup, and breakdown
* Maintain strong relationships with guests, clients, and vendors to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction
* Oversee the promotion of events through various channels to maximise attendance and visibility
* Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operation of all events and sales activities
* Track sales performance and prepare reports for management review
Requirements
* Proven experience in sales within the hospitality sector, including restaurant or hotel environments
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Experience in fundraising or guest services is advantageous
* Demonstrated ability in upselling and achieving sales targets
* Exceptional time management skills with a proactive approach to work planning
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
