Job Description:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) to become part of a busy team delivering a CTAC service for the patients of the Peterhead Locality. The department also includes an Out-Patients department and a Minor Injuries Service. The role will primarily be within the treatment room, but flexibility is essential as the successful applicant may be asked to cover other areas of the department.
Candidates must be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and willing to undergo further training.
Applicants should ideally have a broad range of clinical skills such as venepuncture, wound management, ECGs, and INR, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
The post holder must be able to work under pressure to deliver safe and effective care.
Effective teamwork, excellent communication skills, and IT proficiency are essential.
This position is for 22 hours per week, with scope for increase depending on service needs.
