Singer Capital Markets is a boutique investment bank in the UK Small and Mid-Cap market providing advice to small and medium sized companies on their corporate and financing requirements. We are a privately-owned company made up of c.115 professionals based near the Bank of England.
Main purpose:
The Business Analyst is an operational role supporting the Head of Project Management in the delivery of multiple and varied business improvement projects, as well as providing day-day support to end-users of technology systems.
Key responsibilities:
* Work with the business to elicit, document and analyse requirements, using a variety of techniques including workshops, user stories, process mapping, prototyping and visualisation
* Maintain, contribute to and manage priorities of task lists in project management software
* Provide end user support for the CRM (Salesforce) and related applications across the firm
* Liaise between software vendors and the business to resolve issues, raise support requests, manage upgrade schedules, propose enhancements and keep abreast of future Roadmap schedules
* Manage user acceptance processes; formulating test plans to ensure solutions or software upgrades are fit for purpose and operationally sustainable
* Deliver training on new systems, existing systems, upgrades, process improvements, etc. including creating and maintaining user guides
* Utilise out-of-box functionality within Salesforce to provide solutions, create workflow automations and improve synergy across departments
* Creation and analysis of management information using data reports generated from internal systems, MS Excel and Power BI
* Take opportunities to improve user engagement with technology systems, provide advice on best practices and promote the benefits
* Remain abreast of all relevant regulatory obligations as they apply
