Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to work full-time at an SEN School in Smethwick.
1. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will support students in managing their behaviour, developing positive relationships, and overcoming barriers to learning.
2. Working closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and experienced support colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
3. Building strong, trusting relationships with students to encourage engagement, improve confidence, and promote positive behavioural outcomes.
4. Providing one-to-one and small group mentoring to support students' social, emotional, and behavioural development.
5. Supporting the implementation of behaviour strategies and helping students develop self-regulation skills.
6. The role is full-time and has the potential to become ongoing for the right candidate.

About You:
11. Experience working with children or young people who display challenging behaviour, SEMH needs, Autism, or ADHD.
12. A calm, patient, and resilient approach with the ability to build positive relationships quickly.
13. Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
14. Passionate about supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes and reach their potential.
15. Previous experience as a Behaviour Mentor, Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker, Support Worker, or in a similar role is desirable.
