Anglian Water offers a flexible approach, this role provides you the flexibility to work from home and from an Anglian Water office. Your base location will be Lancaster House in Huntingdon with 2-3 days in the office.

Join our team to provide vital accountancy support for our Group Reporting team. You will play a key role in maintaining a robust control environment by completing month-end processes and conducting balance sheet review and control.
Additionally, you'll assist in the preparation of statutory and regulatory accounts and help drive efficiency through system improvements, including automating controls and reconciliation processes.
This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial stability and operational excellence of the Pension Trustee Company while growing your skills in a dynamic environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Complete accountancy support for Pension Trustee Company
- Perform central finance balance sheet accounts reconciliations in accordance within the timetable set.
- Posting of SAP journals as required including bank postings
- Complete month end reporting.
- Complete Office National Statistics surveys
- Assist with production of the statutory accounts and regulatory accounts.
- Liaise with Internal and External Auditors as Required

What does it take to be successful?
- Experience using SAP.
- AAT qualified accountant or working towards a qualification.
- Experience of reporting and working to deadlines.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to challenge / analytical approach.
- Close attention to detail.
- Good understanding of business context and impact of financial issues on the business.
- High level PC literacy (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
