Work Format: Fully office based
Hourly Rate: £15-17ph DOE
Duties:
1. Work closely with buyers to choose products that match the brand and appeal to customers
2. Support buyers by sharing performance insights to guide their decisions
3. Plan sales targets for promotions, new launches, and regular product reviews
4. Prepare commercial summaries for approval by senior leaders and the board
5. Lead promotional planning to boost product visibility and increase sales
6. Help shape commercial decisions with buyers and the space planning team
7. Track inventory to keep stock levels balanced enough to meet demand
8. Manage stock clearance using profitability analysis
9. Handle certain categories to manage stock flow and support cash forecasting
10. Own and deliver intake plans that meet stock and budget goals
11. Review sales data to spot trends and adjust product choices and prices
12. Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate good terms
13. Use customer and market data to predict demand
14. Manage your category timelines to ensure new products and promotions launch on time
15. Work with teams like logistics to manage product flow from suppliers to shelves
Experience:
This role requires a candidate with a proven background in merchandising, someone who is a problem solver and analytical thinker, able to analyse trends, build business relationships and drive a company forward. Customers will need to be at the heart of everything you do, along with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, meeting deadlines and chasing new products.
