We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic operational manager to join our Cancer and Diagnostic division in the role of General Manager for our Medical Imaging CDG. This role is pivotal to lead on the transformation and provision of high quality services for the community we serve.
Working with an engaged team of dedicated healthcare professionals and the Clinical Delivery Group Management team including the Clinical Director, Clinical Leads, Lead Radiographer and Matron, you will develop the service which deliver best practice whilst maintaining financial performance. You will be responsible for the delivery of safe, efficient and high quality care to our patients as well as progressing the services within a business focus environment.
Responsibilities
* Deliver all performance metrics and KPI (Quality, Operational and Financial) targets, proactively identifying expectations and developing improvement plans with service leaders and clinicians.
* Lead the transformation and development of the Medical Imaging CDG to provide high quality, safe and efficient patient care.
* Work across Colchester, Ipswich and Clacton sites and contribute to on-call requirements.
* Engage with Clinical Delivery Group colleagues (Clinical Director, Clinical Leads, Lead Radiographer, Matron) to develop services that meet best practice and financial performance targets.
* Involve in business case planning for the division.
* Manage resources, governance, and performance to deliver national standards and agreed objectives, targets, quality standards and budget controls.
Qualifications and Skills
* Healthcare or NHS experience with a proven track record of operational delivery and strong financial management skills.
* Effective leadership and the ability to develop productive, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
* Strong change management capability and commitment to delivering services within agreed objectives, targets, quality standards, resource controls and constraints.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment and lead service improvement initiatives.
