About the Role
This role involves leading the effective delivery and continuous improvement of academic programmes within the college. Responsibilities include overseeing curriculum planning, quality assurance, student recruitment and support, teaching and assessment, and compliance with awarding body standards. The post holder will also provide pastoral care, contribute to strategic planning, and ensure high levels of student achievement, retention, and satisfaction. Collaboration with staff, students, parents, and external stakeholders is essential to support a high-quality learning experience leading to successful employment for our learners.
About You
You are a qualified Motor Vehicle professional with a Level 3 qualification or higher, passionate about education and committed to helping learners succeed. You hold, or are willing to work towards, a recognised teaching qualification such as a PGCE or DTLLS, along with GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C or above. You may also hold – or be willing to achieve – assessor and verifier qualifications. With strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and a dedication to continuous improvement, you are ready to support learners both academically and personally in a dynamic college environment.
