Pay Rate: £93 – £113 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Sports Coach to work in schools across Barnsley. This is a great opportunity for a Sports Coach with strong behaviour management skills and a love for physical education.
Responsibilities as a Sports Coach:
* Deliver structured and engaging PE lessons or sports sessions across various year groups.
* Encourage participation, teamwork, and a positive attitude towards physical activity.
* Support the wider PE department in planning and organising sporting activities and events.
* Promote inclusion and adapt activities for students with varying needs.
* Maintain a safe and supportive environment, ensuring high standards of behaviour and participation.
Requirements for Sports Coach:
* Previous experience as a Sports Coach or working with young people in a sporting context.
* A coaching qualification or relevant sports degree is desirable.
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate pupils of all abilities.
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
* A full CV covering the last 10 years with all gaps clearly explained.
