Applications are invited from individuals interested in joining our multidisciplinary Adult Community Mental Health Team. This is a full-time position (37 hours per week).
The successful applicant will have extensive experience working with individuals with a wide range of mental health issues, possess specialist clinical knowledge of best practices in Mental Health Nursing, and serve as an excellent example to colleagues in delivering holistic, person-centred care. As a Charge Nurse, you will demonstrate strong leadership and management skills, influence practice development, and initiate new practices within a busy multidisciplinary team.
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or demonstrate comparable experience. You will work collaboratively with clients to provide psychosocial and psychological interventions, supporting them within their homes and communities. In your Charge Nurse role, you will lead and manage the nursing team’s daily operations and support the Senior Charge Nurse in ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, person-centred, and affordable services for individuals with severe and/or enduring mental health conditions.
You will be responsible for supervising staff within the nursing team and fulfilling the CMHS Duty Worker role. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential as part of working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

You must be registered with Sub-Part 1: RN3 or RNMH of the UK NMC Register.
