About The Role
HC-One is looking for an Assistant Chef with at least a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and a good understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points. The role requires your positive energy, ability to get along with people, organization skills, and attention to detail in following recipes and presenting food attractively. You should be considerate and kind when communicating with residents and co-workers.
As an Assistant Chef at HC-One, you will value kindness, which is central to our care homes. You will cook and serve nutritious meals, support the First Chef, manage food stock and budget, coach colleagues, and supervise kitchen clean-up, all with resident wellbeing as the priority.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, attend relevant training, and know how to report concerns.
