About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to drive growth and expand our market presence in the lifting, mooring and back deck solutions sector. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and promoting our innovative products and services to the offshore and military industries.
Job Location
The position will be located in one of our UK office locations (Aberdeen, Isle of Wight or Darlington; preferred office can be discussed during the recruitment process).
Job Description
* Develop and execute strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, and industry partners.
* Promote Unique Group’s LLMS solutions, including back deck equipment, bespoke engineering services, Seaflex buoyancy systems, & Water Weights.
* Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
* Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and bids to potential clients.
* Represent Unique Group at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Experience in sales and business development within the offshore, subsea, renewables or decommissioning sectors.
* Understanding of back deck equipment: Winches, Spoolers, HPUs & ancillary equipment.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
* Willingness to travel internationally as required.
Financial Targets
* Achieve annual sales revenue targets of £3 million for lifting and mooring solutions.
* Secure at least 10 new client contracts per year in the lifting and mooring sector.
