About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Python Developer with expertise in data engineering and a keen interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning. This is a permanent, remote-based position covering the UK, offering an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud and data-driven projects. The successful candidate will be integral to designing, developing, and maintaining scalable full-stack applications, with a focus on data pipelines and API integrations. You will collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and other cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless flow and accessibility of data across platforms. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess proven experience as a full-stack developer with a strong command of Python programming. A solid understanding of data engineering principles, including ETL processes and data pipeline architecture, is essential. You should have hands-on experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular, alongside back-end frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, containerization technologies like Docker, and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes is required. Additionally, a genuine interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning, along with excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset, will enable you to thrive in this role. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to learning and innovation are highly valued.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive full-stack applications utilizing Python frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI) and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
* Develop, optimize, and manage ETL pipelines, data workflows, and API integrations to facilitate efficient data processing and accessibility.
* Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure robust data architecture and seamless data access across systems.
* Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and non-relational databases like MongoDB to support data storage needs.
* Participate in deployment activities using Docker, establish CI/CD pipelines, and leverage cloud platforms to ensure scalable and reliable application deployment.
* Support container orchestration and microservices architecture using Kubernetes to improve system scalability and resilience.
* Engage in architectural discussions, contribute to best practice development, and promote code quality throughout the development lifecycle.
