Job Description
1. Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for large-scale commercial construction projects.
2. Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine construction requirements.
3. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop accurate estimates.
4. Participate in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs and efficiency.
5. Manage subcontractor and vendor pricing, ensuring competitive bids.
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
7. Oversee preconstruction schedules and ensure timely project planning.
8. Provide support to the construction team during the transition from preconstruction to the building phase.

The Successful Applicant
The successful Preconstruction Estimator should have:
9. Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes and cost estimation techniques.
10. Proficiency in construction estimation software and tools.
11. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.
13. Problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
14. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
