Position: Maintenance Handyperson

Hours: Mon- Thurs (32 hours per week (Friday is overtime)
Pay: £15/hr basic hours
We are recruiting for a maintenance handyperson to cover PPM and reactive maintenance on a facility in the Hexham area. The handyperson will be responsible for compliance checks such as TMV’s and tap temps, fabric maintenance and basic caretaking duties. The role is a permanent position basic 32 hours per week (Mon-Thurs) Friday is classed as overtime.
Handyperson Description:
Provide general maintenance to the facility including:
Lamping
Fabric maintenance
Completing compliance checks -tap temps, TMV’s etc.
Assisting engineers and trades on site
Also may involve moving stock around on site
Ad-hoc maintenance duties
Grass cutting and grounds
Caretaking duties
PAT Testing
Handyperson Requirements:
To have handyperson experience
Applicants are expected to have several years prior experience some of which will have been in a similar role and have good customer skills.
It is essential staff are self-motivated and promote a “Can do” customer attitude at all times.
Able and willing to pass a security check
Operate all systems within the building in a competent, effective and efficient manner, adhering to relevant guidelines and bulletins.
