Job Title: Financial Controller

Role Overview
A growing care provider seeks an experienced Financial Controller to manage day to day financial operations and support strategic business growth. The successful candidate will oversee financial controls, compliance, and a small administrative team.
Key Responsibilities

Manage end to end monthly payroll, pensions, and staff expenses in line with UK employment law.

Oversee accurate client invoicing, private billing, and supplier payments.
*
Maintain robust financial controls, cash flow monitoring, budgeting, and forecasting.
*
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial reports.
*
Ensure full compliance with HMRC, Companies House, and sector regulatory financial standards.
*
Lead, motivate, and manage a small team of business administrators.
Requirements
*
Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent experience.
*
Proven experience as a Financial Controller, ideally within a service provision business.
*
Expert proficiency in Xero accounting software.
*
Strong understanding of UK payroll, VAT, and financial regulations.
*
Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
