Future Opening: Field Service Technician
1. This position is for a mechanically inclined person who must be able to perform all duties of a Pool Maintenance Technician position and Opening Crew Leader.
2. Must have own tools.
3. Must be able to make basic repairs to the pool and surrounding areas, including deck and minor cement patches.
4. Must be able to perform Deck‑o‑Seal, tile and coping repairs.
5. Must be able to repair and replace underground leaks and lines; replace a pool skimmer or core a pool wall.
6. Must start pools on openings and perform all duties of Opening Crew Leader and Pool Maintenance Technician.
7. Must close pools for the winter.
8. Must make minor repairs to the system and pool.
9. Must run a computer water test.
10. Must replace equipment such as pumps, filters, multiport valves, suction manifolds, assorted valves, and system piping.
11. Must swim or dive in a pool to make minor patches to the pool surface and assist in pressure checks of pool lines.
12. Must dye test pool shell for leaks (light switch, wall fitting, cracks in the shell, main drain cups, hydrostatic relief plugs, etc.).
13. Must have a valid Driver’s License and tools (company provides service truck).
14. Knowledge of plumbing.
15. Measure all new liner replacements, spa cover, and winter safety covers.
16. Measure all safety fence jobs.
17. Make and diagnose any and all repairs to all filter systems including pump, filters, heaters, and ancillary equipment such as ozonators, salt generators, chlorinators, all piping, plumbing, valves, manifolds; diagnose and repair all electronic controls.
18. Perform all new pool start‑up and indoctrinations.
19. Help with estimates and sales.
20. Assist the customer service representative by speaking to customers with technical questions in the office and on the road.

Compensation: $35.00 per hour
