We have an exciting opportunity for an efficient individual to play a pivotal role within the management team. We are looking for an experienced Leader who can provide guidance, support, and supervision to a team of secretarial, administration, and clerical staff within the Planned Care Directorate.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day smooth operations of services, ensuring appropriate planning, coaching, mentoring, and performance management of over 100 Secretarial and Admin staff.
Applicants should have previous admin/secretarial and supervisory experience, with excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with NHS Waiting Times and knowledge of HR policies and procedures, including absence management, are essential.
The role requires leadership skills to develop teams, assertiveness combined with diplomacy, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Flexibility, initiative, and the ability to travel between sites are necessary. Good English language and communication skills are also required.
The salary for this post is pro-rata for part-time hours.
