We re looking for a dynamic leader to drive forward this ambition. With oversight of the homelessness and housing register teams, you will steer our response to people in acute housing need across the district. About You You ll bring: A comprehensive, practice-based understanding of homelessness legislation, how the Council carries out its statutory duties and contributes to improving lives Extensive experience of leading teams under pressure, with a focus on responsiveness, resilience and collaboration A proven ability to build and maintain partnerships that support improved outcomes against a range of targets including homelessness reduction, increased levels of independence and more sustainable, healthier lifestyles The ability to balance the needs of individuals against budget challenges, including ensuring appropriate use of temporary accommodation and other resources An awareness of how Psychologically Informed Environments and Trauma Informed Care approaches can be used to improve outcomes for people approaching the service.
