Job Description
3. Lead the development of detailed designs and technical drawings for manufacturing processes.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and efficiency.
5. Analyse and improve existing product designs to enhance performance and reduce costs.
6. Provide technical support during the production and implementation phases.
7. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
8. Manage design documentation and maintain accurate records of projects.
9. Contribute to innovation by researching new materials and technologies.
10. Support junior engineers with mentorship and guidance as needed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Design Engineer should have:
11. A degree or equivalent qualification in engineering or a related field.
12. 10 years proven experience in industrial or manufacturing design projects with full product development life cycle.
13. Advanced SolidWorks skills (3D modelling, assemblies, 2D drawings) and PDM experience.
14. Strong Project Management experience
15. Knowledge of engineering standards and best practices within the industry.
16. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
17. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
