Role Responsibility
We are looking to recruit to the post of Income Recovery Visiting Officer (KSF). This post is offered as a permanent position and is full time (37 hours per week). The role is based in Maidstone however, we undertake hybrid working, meaning that we work from home and the office, depending on business needs.
Acting in a senior position within the Income Recovery team, you will use your excellent knowledge and technical experience to improve the recovery of income and reduce debt owed to the authority. Adopting a pro-active approach, whilst imparting knowledge and assisting officers within the Income Recovery teams, you will help develop and shape the recovery process.
You must be positive, engaging, adaptable to change, and possess excellent organisational, numeracy and communication skills. You will be able to demonstrate compassion and knowledge when working with debtors during face-to-face visits, ensuring that recovery is efficient, informative, and successful.
This role requires the regular completion of face-to-face visits around Kent, the successful candidate must therefore be able to travel regularly as required by the business.
