Interim Director of Transformation (12 month FTC)
Harmonic Executive are delighted to have been retained by one of the UK's leading PE-backed technology and services providers.
This is not a typical transformation role. We are supporting a major organisation as it embarks on one of the most ambitious and high-profile change programmes of 2025/26. With a workforce of more than 1,500 people, spread across multiple service lines, sites and jurisdictions, this is a unique opportunity to reshape the way a complex, blended services-and-technology business operates at its core.
We are looking for an outstanding
Director of Transformation
to design and deliver a new Target Operating Model that will define the organisation's future.
The Role
* Lead one of the most strategically important transformation programmes currently underway in the UK market.
* Design and embed a Target Operating Model that ensures the organisation is fit for the next decade of growth and impact.
* Reimagine workforce planning on a world-class scale — ensuring the right structures, skills and capabilities are in place to power the organisation's future.
* Work directly with a high-profile Chairperson, acting as a key partner and trusted advisor.
* Unite and inspire a highly diverse set of stakeholders, bringing pace, conviction and collaboration to complex change.
* Deliver visible, measurable impact across operations, culture, and customer experience.
The Person
* A proven leader of large-scale transformation programmes in organisations of 1,500+ employees.
* Recognised expertise in workforce planning: able to translate organisational strategy into practical, future-fit workforce design.
* Experienced in complex, multi-service, multi-site businesses: ideally those blending services and technology.
* Exceptional EQ and communication skills, with the credibility and gravitas to operate at Board level.
* Comfortable navigating complexity, managing competing priorities, and creating clarity where there is ambiguity.
* Both a strategist and a doer: able to shape the vision and drive execution.
This is a career-defining opportunity to lead a transformation programme that will be watched closely across the market; and one that offers the chance to leave a lasting mark on a nationally significant organisation.
