The Role:

* Weaving a Tapestry of History:
o Design and deliver engaging and stimulating History lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities.
o Utilize a diverse range of teaching methods, including interactive discussions, debates, source analysis, multimedia presentations, and immersive activities to create a dynamic learning environment.
o Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom that encourages participation, critical thinking, and a love for historical exploration.
o Prepare students for success in relevant History qualifications.
* Igniting Curiosity and Understanding:
o Develop students' comprehension of significant historical events, key figures, and major historical developments.
o Encourage students to ask insightful questions, analyze evidence, and form their own interpretations of the past.
o Cultivate a sense of historical empathy and the ability to understand the world from diverse perspectives.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking a qualified History Teacher with a minimum of two years' successful teaching experience in a secondary school setting. The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
