The role
As a Clerk, you will be responsible for creating and issuing personnel and vehicle passes to all RAF Shawbury personnel and visitors, in accordance with the RAF Shawbury Control of Entry Policy, supporting the HADES contract.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Issuing permanent passes and permits, providing guidance on the application process, and issuing temporary passes as needed.
2. Controlling and safeguarding the custody of passes and permits prior to issue, treating blank security forms as Unclassified and blank ID cards as Sensitive documents, in line with JSP.
3. Performing completion checks before issuing passes or permits, including security checks following GDPR regulations.
4. Gathering documentation for BPSS vetting of passes and permits for dependants, contractors, and social personnel, ensuring all documentation is correctly completed.
This is a part-time role based onsite at RAF Shawbury.
Essential experience:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong IT skills.
* Experience working within GDPR compliance environments.

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain SC security clearance. Eligibility may be affected by nationality, citizenship, or residency, subject to restrictions and policies.
