What you'll be doing
As an Assistant QUANTITY SURVEYOR, you will have the following accountabilities:
1. Gather data & carry out research on current construction costs
2. Measure, record & value work supervised in accordance with appropriate rules and procedures
3. Seek out, locate and assemble pre and post contract documentation, complimented with the necessary administration skills.
4. Collation of Cost and Value Information
5. Preparation of Cost reconciliation statements
6. Collation of cost and value information
7. Measurement of works and agreements with subcontractors
Who we're looking for
You will have experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor and will have good knowledge in quantity surveying duties and a demonstrate a track record in performing these duties. With support from senior members of the commercial team, you will manage the costs of the works and ensure that your part of the project meets legal and quality standards. You will also be responsible for the effective engagement and management of our supply chain. Typically, you will have a quantity surveying degree or be in the final stages of achieving the same on a part-time basis.
You will be proactively following the structured training programmes to achieve their professional qualifications from the RICS, ICES or CIOB
You will have the following experience / qualifications:

9. Working towards professional membership from the RICS, ICES or CIOB
