As a Learning & Access Curator, you will join our in-demand Museums service as part of a dedicated team supporting learning, access, and engagement with museum collections.

The Role
You will develop and implement community engagement, learning programs, events, volunteer opportunities, and partnerships. Your role will support the planning and delivery of displays, services, and programs.
The Candidate
* Knowledge of interpretation best practices in museums, galleries, or heritage settings.
* Ability to build and sustain partnerships with various organizations.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills.
* Understanding of lifelong learning practices and access barriers.
* Experience in developing, delivering, and evaluating public programs for diverse audiences.

Additional Information
This role offers hybrid working arrangements, with some days in the office and some at home, as agreed with your line manager. Riverside Museum is accessible by public transport and has nearby parking.
Working hours are four weekdays, 9 am to 5 pm, with occasional weekends or evenings.

Membership of the PVG Scheme is required, and candidates will need to pay for PVG checks.
This position is covered under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended). Salary will be pro-rata.
