The Package
* Starting salary of £18,500 per year (increasing to National Minimum/Living wage after 12 months if applicable)
* 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
* 40 hours per week
* Monday to Friday

What will I be doing as an apprentice?
As a Quality Data Analyst apprentice, you’ll work with data—supporting laboratory operations and quality standards through hands-on involvement with real-world systems. This role suits someone curious, detail-oriented, and eager to analyze data for insights and improvements.
You won’t be alone—your journey will be supported by fellow apprentices and experienced colleagues. You’ll develop skills that extend beyond classroom learning into a dynamic, real-world environment.
As part of the Holcim Quality team, your work will help ensure data accuracy and reliability, underpinning decisions related to safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
Daily tasks include supporting laboratory data systems, contributing to quality improvement projects, and collaborating across locations. This role offers a great opportunity to grow professionally and gain exposure to data challenges and innovations in construction materials.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting the development and maintenance of our laboratory management system.
* Creating clear data reports to aid decision-making.
* Managing and analyzing datasets using tools like Excel, Google Sheets, and other platforms.
* Investigating data trends to support quality improvements.
* Defining and reporting on data quality metrics.
* Collaborating with stakeholders to improve data flows.
* Participating in training to learn about product testing and industry standards.

Being an apprentice is practical and hands-on, providing experiences beyond traditional university or college settings.

Eligibility
Applicants must meet UK Government rules: over 16, not in full-time education, UK residency for 3 years, and the right to work in the UK. If you already hold a Level 3 qualification, degree, or substantial relevant experience, you may not be eligible for funding, as these programs are aimed at upskilling or reskilling.
